The hotel is located about 1km to the railway station. We walked to it very conveniently along a main street within 20 mins. The suroundings of hotel is just the city center, and you can go to the most North MacDonald, the walking street and the large river. My child played with the water excitedly near the river. The breakfast is unstinted with many kinds. Because the travelling day was rainy, we ordered the taxi to the Christmas village from the reception desk, the response was very fast. Therefore, it was a good selection.

Safe, central location, comfortable beds and pillows. Very good breakfast, especially eggs and karjalanpiirakat. Hertz car rental just next door and convenient car parking next to the hotel. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean.

Great hotel for a stop over as our flight was late into Finland. The room and bathroom was very clean, very quiet and comfortable. Overall I was impressed with how cheap it was and how well maintained the hotel was. Really good location - we paid 7 Euros for a bus from the airport which dropped us off right outside the hotel, very near to restaurants so we could go and have some food after a long day. Reception were very helpful and the breakfast was busy, but well managed and a good choice.

We had a great stay at the Scandic City Rovaniemi Hotel. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and warm. The bathroom is little but more than adequate. The toiletries supplied were very nice. The staff were friendly, helping out with any issue and always there if you had a question. The location is perfect for all the activities we had planned. We were able to get taxis and pick ups without any problem. Most tours picked up directly from the hotel. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance of this hotel and a place across the street to rent warm weather clothing. The breakfast had lots of options (including options for vegans) and it was nice that the hours were extended on the weekend. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Pretty central location in Rovaniemi. Almost everywhere is in walking distance, including train and bus station. Comfortable bed and nice room. Tasty and good breakfast. Price / value was also good.

it is clean, modern and relatively spacious. Most remarkably it is in the perfect location between McDonalds ,a supermarket in a shopping centre with an ATM both over the road, and adjacent to local restaurants. Although we had 2 separate rooms, they were adjacent to each other with a separate common area that was hidden from the main corridor.

Great central location. Friendly staff. Great selection for breakfast. Breakfast got busy at times but manageable. Lovely quiet rooms. Nice and warm. Rooms were compact but more than enough for a base. They were great at putting our 2 rooms together.

The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were courteous, spoke excellent English and didn't mind that I butchered their language (sorry about that, my finnish is diabolical). The location is fantastic for those who have kids, the world's most northern mcdonalds is across the street and there's also a shopping mall right across the street as well.

Location of the hotel is in the downtown of Rovaniemi. Lots of restaurants are around the hotel, so food is not a problem during stay. Also, there is a supermarket just across the road. It is a building with large LEDs on the wall, go inside and down by an elevator, you can buy snacks, fruit, drinks, and sledge there.

property is located centrally with good access to tours starting points and also Santa’s city office. lots of restaurants in the area. it was very quiet at night, even though it is a big hotel with lots of different kinds of guests (families, younger people, etc), well maintained and clean. great staff, always serving with a smile. nice relaxed lobby bar, so you do not have to go out in the cold for a night cap. good value breakfast in beautiful restaurant.
